I'm a commissioned writer for this weekly topical satire panel show on BBC Radio Scotland, hosted by Des Clarke.

I was a commissioned writer on this 6-part series devised by Jo Caulfield & Kevin Anderson and produced by Dabster Productions. I also appeared as a guest panellist on the show too.

I founded, host and produce The Scottish Comedy FC podcast. Members of the Scottish comedy circuit discussing the beautiful game. We've recorded episodes at Hampden, Easter Road (home of Hibs), Firhill (home of Patrick Thistle) and Broadwood stadium (home of Clyde FC). At one point we also beat Off The Ball in iTunes sports podcast charts. @ScotComFC has 7000+ Twitter followers.

I was co-writer on this comedy series (+1 pilot episode) for Bona Broadcasting.

For the group stages of World Cup 2010 I was a daily guest on the show, giving my own rundown of interesting facts (football & non-football related) on the competing countries.

He still looks wide-eyed and na?ve, but don’t let that fool you – behind the slightly daffy smile is some viciously hard-edged material. He’s a strong gag writer, and even when tackling subjects as seemingly tired as Heather Mills, he can find a new angle that’s not dependent on the obvious.

The material – aptly enough, given the night – is heavily Scottish skewed, but with an appeal that would travel south of the border, if he chose to. Controversial Socialist Tommy Sheridan is the butt of a particularly fine routine, and the entire city of Glasgow gets an affectionate pasting, too.

His often sick material won’t be to everyone’s taste, but he doesn’t care, and skilfully rides the audience’s apparent disgust at some of the darker lines, ordering them to just ‘toughen up’ and live with it. Such confidence, backed with pin-sharp lines, earned him second place in the final reckoning."

My script was one of 4 overall winners in the competition. 20 finalists had been workshopped by the likes of Stewart Lee, then winners were selected by the likes of Iain Morris. The director was Colin Kennedy.

I wrote a weekly sporting opinion column. Although for regional press, the column's scope was broader. I retired it in June 2015 due to writing commitments on Radio Scotland's Breaking The News among other projects.

I was a regular guest on Fred MacAulay's radio show (discussing a variety of topics - and often being used for the 'Five Things' topical comedy feature - until the programme ended in March 2015.
